Our Most Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
We raise and train puppies of all breeds for our clients. Some of the more popular breeds that we typically have are Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, Beagles, and Labrador Retrievers. We can raise any breed for our clients.
Typically, the puppy will stay with us until they are around 6-7 months old. Some people even decided to have us keep their puppy longer. After our initial training is completed, you absolutely can pay our boarding rate should you decided that you need some extra time to prepare.
Yes, all puppies will be fully vaccinated upon delivery. We will provide you with a certificate of vaccinations along with his or her rabies certificate and tag.
We do not offer therapy or service dog training. However, when we are selecting a puppy from the litter, we do look for puppies that display a certain type of energy and demeanor. These qualities are also typically seen in service and therapy dogs.
Doodle Questions
We raise and sell all different types of doodles. You can see what we have available by visiting our ‘Available Puppies‘ page. We frequently have mini-labradoodles due to their great temperaments and size. Our mini-labradoodles usually stay under 30-35lbs.
Doodles do need to get groomed regularly. We recommend having your puppy bathed along with their coat blown out every 4-6 weeks and having their coat trimmed every 6-8 weeks. This can vary depending on how quickly his or her coat grows and your preference in how long you leave their coat.
It’s always suggest bringing in a picture of what you want your doodle to look like. Or just mention to the groomer that you do not want the poodle cut. Doodles tend to look better with more of a full face of hair without their muzzle being shaved.
Puppy Delivery
We offer both delivery and pick up options available.
- Pick-Up (Free): This option is where you come to our home to pick up your puppy once their training is complete. You’ll typically spend several hours with us learning all of your puppy’s training and how to use the training tools.
- Home Delivery*: This option is where we travel to your home with your puppy. We typically will spend the day with you and your family going over everything in order for the puppy to have a smooth transition into your home.
- Special Delivery*: This option is where we meet at an agreed upon location. This is a great option for people who live where temperatures may be too hot or too cold for the delivery option since part of the training will be spending some time outside.
* The delivery options are an additional cost and not included in the puppy purchase price listed on the ‘Available Puppies’ page. The delivery fee will vary depending on location, time of year, length of time, and accommodation availability. Contact us to discuss the delivery fee.
